About Earthbound

Earthbound is operated entirely by Nancy and Peter Bell with sons Keith and John their significant others Dodie and Christina. In turn the 5 grandchildren will be able to contribute. All takes place here at our modest 5 acre holding nestled in the gentle hills of Oregon, Illinois. 100 miles due west of downtown Chicago and 40 miles from the Mississippi River locates us in Natures grasp. Since 2000 we've abided by sustainable practices which led us inevitably to the earthworm and it's place in Nature. Earthworm Castings are the purest, most environmentally sustainable additive for a plant medium we could find and all the pieces fit together in the organic process. Therefore Worm Castings are what we do and it feels good. An Organic product as a result of a natural process for people who appreciate the the honesty of Nature. "Integrity is how you act when there's nobody watching!" Please visit our photo collection.

About Worm Castings...

  • Healthy soil is the key to successful organic gardening. Feed the soil, let the soil feed your plants.
  • Soil provides all the conditions plants need to thrive. Healthy soil is a democracy full of living things such as insects, bacteria, fungi, and micro organisms. All in a medium of water, air, organic matter, fine rock and mineral particles.
  • Worms used in production are bedded in organic black topsoil with all naturally found minerals and trace elements. Digested by our worms, the results (castings) are beneficially altered both chemically and physically. The result is: OPTIMUM PLANT NUTRITION.
